About the Bathroom Remodel

When the ceiling of the newly remodeled kitchen in this home began leaking, it was time for Architectural Craftsmen to perform not only maintenance on the master bathroom above, but a complete overhaul as well. The project in this 1915 home required the right design to make it function in the modern world, while keeping the look original to its Southern Colonial roots. Marble-look porcelain tiles created the canvas of the bathroom. The new double-slipper tub, accented with period-style fixtures, rests on new hexagonal porcelain tiles. The flush-construction of the cabinetry pays homage to cabinets of this period, and yet it hosts practical storage pullouts and electrical access for today’s appliances.
